I'm lokking for a job as a manager, Economist,Policy advisor, Project/programme management, NGOs Executive, among others. I’m a dynamic, result oriented and highly motivated Kenyan, aged 42 years with a wealth of experience in planning and matters spanning over 16 years gained in public service, international bodies and parastatals. I have a Masters Degree in Economic Policy Management which I obtained in 1999 from Columbia University in the City of New York, USA. I attended the Nairobi University from ####-####, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Economics) at Upper Second Class Honours. I have also attended a number of short training in Belgium and Germany and is well trained in advanced computer skills. I have been involved in various challenging assignments including research and development work, Macroeconomic issues; policy issues; preparation of Business Plans, Customer Service Surveys, Customer Service Charter, performance reports and appraisals, projects formulation, monitoring and evaluation, among others. During my internship with the World Bank, I did research and prepared a paper on governance in Kenya and other research work that was further developed and used by the Bank. Currently, I'm working as the Head of Planning Section within Corporate Services Division of Kenya Ports Authority and is responsible for adding real value to KPA’s operations by providing economic knowledge to management thereby facilitating good planning, corporate strategies and programmes; coordinating development planning for the Authority (preparing short range plans like Business and Strategic Plans, monitoring Long range development plan, etc
