I would like to apply for a position as a journalist / reporter for a broadcast team or within an editorial team. Preferable I would like to travel within my job. Since the beginning of 2007 I have worked as a chemicals and construction correspondent with Mergermarket, an M&A intelligence service in London. Mergermarket is part of the Financial Times Group. In addition to my position as a news and origination journalist, I also write sector analysis pieces. Prior to my current role, I worked in newsrooms, such as ABC News in New York, Stern Magazine in Hamburg and Arirang TV in Seoul where I produced news articles and established international contacts. A large part of my recent projects involved establishing confidential relationships with corporate practitioners, which has honed my networking abilities. This is done through source meetings and conference attendance. Furthermore, working for a global organisation means that I am used to working with colleagues on cross boarder stories. I am fluent in both German and English.
