I would like to work in purchasing / procurement. The type of business is not nearly as important as the quality of the company. I have over ten years of experience and have developed a process which includes becoming as knowledgeable about what I am asked to purchase as possible as well as how it is used. In addition, doing in depth reasearch on the vendors allows me to employ a high value procurement philosophy rather just accepting the lowest bid.
