As a Financial Analyst with this multi-billion dollar financial asset management firm, you will develop and prepare new or revised financial and accounting policies, procedures, reports and statements to provide effective financial planning, accounting and reporting of information. Other areas of responsibility include: collection, research and analysis of statistical and financial data for short-term and strategic financial planning and reporting as well as special projects; coordination and preparation of monthly forecasts for assigned units; preparation of management reports. You will be working independently and require little need for supervision.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (Accounting Degree preferred) in a related discipline; or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of GAAP.
3+ years progressive accounting and financial analysis experience in the financial industry.
Proven experience in preparation of financial statements and reports.
Prior experience in the preparation and analysis of strategic and operating plans to endure development of financial objectives.
Experience with managerial accounting and reporting concepts and processes.
Excellent communication (verbal, written) presentation and consultative skills.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
