Purpose:
This role as a member of the Queensland Management Consulting practice will deliver consulting advisory services to clients relating to organisational development and workforce management, planning and associate organisational change programs as they relate to operational business improvement.
Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for the delivery of a range workforce management and planning professional services utilising the Workforce Management and Organisational Change Management Frameworks. Key focus areas are:
· Workforce Planning and Management;
· Performance Reviews;
· Strategy Development;
· Organisational change management.
Such service shall include workforce management strategy development, Workforce strategy implementation planning, Workforce planning reviews and evaluation, Workforce risk assessments, Workforce demand analysis, Job Design and skills audits, Scenario planning, Retention management, Succession Planning, training and leadership development, Human Resource management, Workforce surveying and profiling, and change and communications management.
As a guide typical activities can include:
Business Development
· Review and comment on market opportunities
· Attendance to client presentations in partnership with the Location General Manager and Executive Client Manager, and QLD Management Consulting Practice lead;
· Development of client proposals;
· Attendance to industry events as required.
Method Development
· Contribution to the development and maintenance of WFP methods
· Contribution to the client reference library.
Professional Development
· Maintaining knowledge of contemporary frameworks, issues and methods related to the National service line offerings;
· Maintenance of accreditation professional development requirements
Service Delivery
· Delivery of consulting services as outlined above as an individual or member of a delivery team;
An annual performance plan shall be developed in collaboration with the Qld Lead of Management Consulting as a component of the annual review cycle.

· Extensive knowledge of contemporary Human Resource Management practices including Organisational Development, Planning, Industrial Relations and OH&S.
Experience
· HR practioner with a minimum of 10 years experience;
· Operational and strategic HR management experience;
· Government / Commercial sector experience;
· Consulting / presales experience desirable;
· Relevant qualifications in Business, Human Resource Management, Psychology, Behavioural Science
