Position Title: Solution Architect
Location: New York City, NY
Description: Provides pre-sales technical support and expertise in analyzing customer requirements in conjunction with the company's current desktop/server virtualization, storage, Microsoft, and system capabilities and ensuring company design will accomplish customer's objectives.
Responsibilities:
· Support the Outside Sales organization with the identification of customer requirements and the development of appropriate pre-sales documentation, to write Statements of Work, Product Quotes, RFP responses, etc.
· Communicate technical design requirements, constraints, functionality, and implementation details verbally and in formal documentation
· Design technical proof of concept testing
· Work with customers to define implementation projects including requirements gathering
· Resolve technical issues in assessment, solution design and implementation
· Provide knowledge transfer to client
· Assist in project scoping and SOW development for consulting services (and sometimes hardware)
· Create assessment questionnaires and other forms of written deliverables
Qualifications: The incumbent will leverage a combination of technical aptitude and consultative capabilities with a sales and business focus. Good verbal and written communication, customer relationship, project and time management skills are also required.
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
2. Strong desktop and server virtualization background along with Storage and Microsoft Infrastructure Optimization
3. Experience in the IT industry along with enterprise Pre-Sales experience
4. Exposure to Systems Administration
5. Overall technical leadership in at least one major project
6. Strong technical background and PC skills
