Position Title: Chief Compliance Officer, Federal Systems Group
Location: RESTON, VA
Reports To: VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE, FEDERAL SYSTEMS
Description: The individual will ensure that the company’s Federal Systems is compliant with the Federal regulations (Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulations, Federal Travel Regulations, etc.) and have direct interaction with the Financial Directors for each of the Organization’s Business Segments, DCAA.
Responsibilities: Management of Compliance functions including:
• Provide expert guidance to business leaders relative to the FAR and CAS and their general application to business as well as specific application to specific issues and opportunities that arise
• Interface with Business and Finance leaders to ensure compliance with Company Policy, procedures and controls with regard to areas that are governed by the FAR
• Participate in Special Investigations along with the Office of General Counsel
• Lead the overall Compliance function including DCAA Audit Coordination, DCAA / issues resolution, rate structures and related filings, and directing the remediation of policy and procedure and response to DCAA audit findings
Qualifications: A self-starter with outstanding leadership, negotiation and communication skills in addition to project management and implementation skills. The individual should possess excellent analytical, strategic thinking and superior people skills with a reputation for being a team player. Ability to work comfortably and effectively with top-level Government officials is required.
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Experience in Federal Compliance
3. DCAA experience and in depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
4. Experience as a financial leader with progressive experience in Government compliance both within the Government and in Government contracting environments
5. Active Top Secret Security Clearance
