TITLE: Principal Consultant- Retail CRM

LOCATION: Any Major US City

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Interact with clients & prospects in order to establish rapport as well as a basis for a continuing relationship. Provide thought leadership to influence clients during proposals and pre-sales. Supervise teams in putting through proposals and ensuring that all the estimations in the proposal are done correctly.
• Open business with new clients and developing long-term, annuity revenue with key clients.
• Lead practice solution consulting team to drive growth in solutions sales
• Leverage domain knowledge and industry experience conceptualize and design micro- vertical CRM solutions
• Provide leadership in practice growth and strategy execution
• Anchor complete solution demonstration and able to define how solution differentiates the client from its competitors.
• Build and maintaining executive client relationships
• Overseeing large, complex, solution implementations consisting of systems, process, and organization transformation
• Engage stakeholders across organizations to obtain buy-in for strategies and solutions
• Provide leadership to motivate and keep teams working to their optimum potential. Guide the project team in the process of conducting the initial diagnostic study of the clients’ business / system. Lead and provide guidance during all stages in the life-cycle of a project. Review, guide and resolve contentious issues during the actual project development stage. Conduct weekly reviews, scans the tools and processes designed to implement the package.
• Predict and forecast technology changes that are anticipated for the future. Depending on the extent of change, plan for building team's skills in the new technology. Enable building of knowledge databases and identify domain / technology / solution areas for investment. Align the practice strategy in line with technology trend and advise management for investing & building capabilities along it.
• Independently lead multiple engagements, ensuring that the engagement handled becomes a win-win situation for all the stakeholders involved and will meet implicit and explicit quality factors.
• Analyze and advise clients on industry trends. Relate to one industry vertical at least to suggest unique package driven innovative process solutions to the customer. Tailoring methodologies and macro issues to customer’s needs.
• Develop sales and consulting staff, providing mentoring, coaching, and direct guidance


QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 10+ years of business development and consulting experience
• Senior-level professional with deep domain knowledge and contacts in Retail industries preferably wholesale distribution of computer and office equipment.
• Leader in complex solution selling in relationship-based sales model
• Experience implementing large-scale systems and/or managing billing and revenue projects in Tier 1 companies
• Expertise in leading CRM packages like MS CRM, Siebel, Salesforce.com, etc.
• Consulting background with a leading firm preferred
• High competence in delivering product presentations and managing client workshops and proof of concepts.     
• Successful track record selling and delivering high-value engagements
• Operates easily at executive level and maintains leverageable relationships
• Exposure to multiple types of client engagements
• Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred.
• Up to 80% travel may be required

Base salary + bonus
