Our client has built a reputation for producing exceptional solutions and are seeking a Technical Rail Director to assist and promote the growth of their rail department . The team are engaged on a number of rail projects throughout the UK. The technical directors primary responsibility is to promote the regional strategy of growth within the London rail sector, providing clear technical and business direction. You will be a key member in the delivery chain, leading by example and promoting a culture of excellence within the team, delivering the local sales performance and maintain strong key account development

Responsibilities:
• Providing clear technical and business direction
• Competencies required within the role include, drive and determination , marketing and business development , technical competence, good communication and risk awareness and be a team player
• Required to lead staff and advise colleagues promoting a culture of excellence
• Involved with the functions resource planning and for setting and delivering high quality standards for design and delivery
• Will be responsible for the Group Manager and work closely with him, Area Director and Sector Directors to ensure mutual support
Requirements:
• Degree qualified
• Member or Fellow of ICE or IStruct E
• Previous experience of bridges and civil structures within the Rail and/or LUL industry
• Proven technical competency and ability, marketing and business development , network and commercial awareness
• Must be a team player, flexible, technically confident and able to communicate freely and clearly with colleagues and clients
• Excellent spoken and written English a must
