Duties:
CACI has an upcoming requirement for an Aegis Systems Logistics Engineer to support an upcoming proposal for the Air Dominance Engineering Support Services Contract for NSWC PHD Air Dominance Department. Provide engineering, logistic and programmatic services for the development of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) technology program for the Aegis ships to include the material management services in establishing and maintaining diminishing material supply and obsolescence program. Support the DMS and Obsolescence Program input into the Aegis Life Cycle support engineering and logistic model. Conduct on-site validation of COTS replacement material candidates, and support engineering and logistics working group meetings to implement requirements. Develop, update, review, and maintain technical and logistics documentation and provide on-site technical support services. Provide planning, scheduling, and technical documentation of the COTS and OA technology for the integration into the Aegis combat system. Provide support services for introduction of new technologies; infusion of COTS and OA, use of CNDI; and associated updated documentation, configuration, and material management requirements needs of the Aegis Program to include the successful implementation of Aegis Open Architecture CG/DDG Modernization. The individual(s) selected will provide support for the U.S., Allied Nations, and Foreign Military Sales customers.
Required Qualifications:
Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of the Aegis Combat Systems engineering and logistics processes, tools and techniques to include COTS, GOTS, NDI, DMS and obsolescence programs associated with legacy and open architecture systems. Demonstrated experience preparing, presenting and participating in engineering and logistics team meetings.
Requires Bachelor’s degree (Engineering) or equivalent and two to four years of related engineering and logistics experience.
Must be skilled with PCs, MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Travel estimated at <25%.
Desired Qualifications:
Incumbent on current Air Dominance Contract a plus, directly related logistics and engineering experience with In-Service Engineering Integrated Logistics/Life Cycle Support directives, processes and procedures. Directly related experience in the ISEA change process to include; engineering change proposals (ECPs), Justification Cost Forms (JCFs), Ship Alterations (SHIPALTs), and Ordnance Alterations (ORDALTs) a plus.
