Duties:
CACI has an immediate position for a Database Analyst to support our Navy IT Projects in Pascagoula MS. The Database Analyst will be responsible to provide technical support and maintenance for a customer developed database. The position will provide design, documentation, management of change, and development of processes and procedures throughout the life-cycle of the software.
Specific responsibilities include:
Providing Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, and Share-point services support. Hands on user support for customer developed Microsoft Excel database. Solving problems with hardware and software both locally and remotely. Working with customer to maintain and upgrade application as needed along with training user community in latest updates and changes.
Required Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a Background Investigation to qualify. Must be eligible to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance.
Requires Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field) or equivalent, and three to five years of database user support experience.
Experience requirements include:
A minimum of three years experience working with Microsoft Operating systems and Office software. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and database applications. Proven ability to provide successful user support services.
Desired Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. Experience working with Active Directory. Working knowledge of Remedy/Helpstar Help Desk system. Working knowledge of Citrix remote support systems. A working knowledge of DoD/Navy Information systems is a plus.
