Technical Trainer for Aegis SPY-1 Radar Systems

Duties:
The successful candidate will be part of an industry-combined instructional delivery team providing Aegis Weapon System training at the Aegis Training and Readiness Center Dahlgren, VA. Candidate will be responsible to the Lead Contractor/Instructor Supervisor and may be required to certify in several courses.
Required Qualifications:
Must have current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.
Per contract requirements, candidate must be a graduate of the Aegis Weapon System course prior to 2000 and whose experience was with the SPY-1(D) radar. Must have received training in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD). Candidate must possess the Navy NEC 9502 (Instructor Certification), NEC 1105 (MK 7 Technician) or NEC 1336 (Aegis Weapons Systems technician Track 3), and NEC 1119 (Aegis Radar System SPY-1B/D Technician) certifications.
Requires bachelor's degree (in Training/Development or related field) or equivalent experience and two to four years of related (training and/or technical) experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Master Training Specialist (MTS)
