Duties:
CACI has an immediate opening for a Systems Analyst to support Readiness Based Sparing (RBS) development and maintenance efforts based in Chantilly, VA. These efforts are in support of the Naval Supply System Command.
Specific responsibilities include:
Under general supervision, maintains Oracle data files and control procedures for the Readiness Suite RBS system. Maintains both intra-CACI test databases and Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI)-hosted production data. Provides input to system security requirements and monitors data files for data integrity. Works with internal and external customers to develop system scope statements for new capabilities and modules. Assigns passwords and monitors use of resources, backs up files as required and responds to requests for information from both CACI and Navy customers. Develops test plans and ensures that Readiness Suite technical documentation is complete and up-to-date.
Required Qualifications:
Must be eligible to obtain a DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify.
Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field) or equivalent, and two to four years of related experience.
Required Hardware:
(Hardware/operating systems platform experience)
Must have at least 2 years experience working with BEA Weblogic applications server 8.1.6 and above, preferably on a Solaris platform.
Ability to install, configure and maintain BEA Weblogic application servers.
Experience must demonstrate ability to tune applications servers for performance.
Required Software:
Experience with shell programming
Experience developing test plans for a complex system
Experience monitoring Oracle files for data integrity and security
Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)
Desired Qualifications:
Knowledge of J2EE/Java programming, Hibernate, Spring, Struts and JUnit/DbUnit architectures, Java Stored Procedures, Java Beans, Java Database Connectivity (JDBC)
Command of Microsoft Office suite
Strong verbal and written communication skills
