Duties:
CACI has an opening for a Principal Information Security (INFOSEC) Engineer in our Norfolk, VA location. Employee will support the Information Systems Security Manager/Information Assurance Team (ISSM/IA). Will be responsible for conducting and reviewing security accreditation packages in accordance with the DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process (DITSCAP), DITSCAP Application Manual DoD 8510.1-M, and the DoD 8500 series Information Assurance Documentation. Will review System Security Authorization Agreements, feedback from Red Teams and Certifications Agents, and other vulnerability assessments that are used to target systems at risk. Individual will provide Certification & Accreditation (C&A) expertise to include:

a. Ensuring the security design and implementation of applicable sites and systems are in accordance with the governing DOD and DON Certification & accreditation. Documents will be reviewed and assessed in regards to System, Site, and Type System Security Authorization Agreements. This includes but not limited to:

i. Risk assessments
ii. Certification and Accreditation requirements
iii. Accreditation recommendations.
iv. Recommendations for corrective actions.

b. Monitoring and documenting system threats, vulnerabilities, and existing security measures or safeguards.

c. Monitoring and documenting risk factors such as operational criticality of the system, sensitivity or value of information, and associated security environment.

d. Providing security certification and accreditation support to operational sites, fielded systems, and systems under acquisition.

Required Qualifications:
Must have a current DoD SECRET Security Clearance to qualify. Must be a U.S. citizen for security clearance purposes.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or related discipline (or equivalent such as certifications in systems administration or network security) and ten to twelve years of IT systems security experience.

Desired Qualifications:
Certification in accordance with DoD 8570.1, at a minimum of an IA Technical Level 2 is highly desired.
