Doctor's Weight Control Center is a bariatrics practice exclusively. The Medical Director and program developer is Dr. Larry A. Richardson, MD, FASBP.
Doctor Richardson is president-elect of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians (ASBP) and has previously been awarded physician of the year honors. Dr. Richardson also has served on the ASBP Board of Directors and remains a respected lecturer and published author of weight loss books.
Dr. Richardson's program continues to help patients control their weight and four of his most recent patients will be on NBCs "Today Show" May 26, 2008 telling how they lost 70-100+ pounds each. Dr. Richardson has helped over 35,000 patients lose weight in the last 20 years and has been at the Spring, Texas location for 8 years.
